Boys, what a day we had on Whitefish. Caught fish ALL DAY LONG. Hawgers… I say, Hawgers ALL DAY! The slot catches were 28, 30, 31,(2) 32, (2) 33, 34 and the big jumbo by Ronnie Blue, 38 inches. Add to that the 20 ½ inch walleye on Whitefish Bay! We kept (2) 27, 26, 25 and a 24. Below 24 we threw back – ALL DAY LONG! The boat is covered with blood (ours and the fish), fish crap and snacks. Swings was the big hitter for the day – 31, 32, (2) 33 inch Hawgers! We don’t think we can get him back to Salt Lake! It was a cool 66 degrees and a steady breeze. Maybe back on Whitefish again tomorrow!

Our count today – (3) 27 (in the well), (2) 27 ½ (back in the water), 28, (3) 29 (2 of which was “double Jumbo”), (2) 29 ½, (2) 30, 31 (2) 32 (caught at the same time, so a “double Jumbo” was in order), 33, (2) 34 and a 35 ½ incher! My hands are scarred from throwing HAWGERS back in the water. We have our total limit on northern now. Wish all my friends were here this time!!!
