1964 old Post card  from Wes Christy

He wrote this year and I thought I would share:

Caught my first fish in August 1964 off the dock at Arrowhead camp.  It was a small pike that snatched a tiny spinner on the end of a starter Zebco outfit.  I had left the rod unattended while I wandered a few feet to watch someone drain water out of a boat(such things are interesting to eight year old boys).  Only the buzz of the drag caused me to look at my rod, and I would have continued to just stare at it if the guy bailing the boat hadn't told me to grab hold.  so began a love of fishing and boats.  He now has a photo of a little boy with a small jack on a stringer standing next to a Chevy pickup marked "Arrowhead Camp" hangs now on the wall of his Cabin... thanks for sharing Wes..

Rick Klabechek Memorial Day weekend. 14 and 10 lbs.  The Klabechek boys Memorial Day weekend. All 6 trout were caught between 33 and 38 feet down with downriggers. Surface water was just over 60 degrees.
